What kind of vacuums do you use? Wouldn’t a regular vacuum work?
At Certi-Green, we use vacuums that carry the Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) Seal of Approval/Green Label. These vacuums are safe for all carpet fibers and remove and contain soils better than a regular vacuum. By using Seal of Approval/Green Label vacuums, we get your carpet as clean as possible, which ultimately helps the carpet last longer.

How long does it take for the carpet to dry?
For our dry carpet cleaning process, your carpet should be dry in 1 hour or less (with the exception of high soiling/pet contamination).
Do protectants really work?
Protectants prevent stains from becoming permanent; they also extend the lifetime of your carpets. Certi-Green uses a Green Seal approved carpet protectant to ensure that your carpets are not only long-lasting, but also safer for you and your health.
What can I do to prepare for my carpet cleaning?
We always appreciate it if your carpets can be vacuumed before we arrive. Also, it’s helpful if small and breakable items are safely stored away. If possible, furniture and other belongings should be moved so as much floor space is available as possible. That way, we can maximize the amount of carpet to be cleaned.
How often should I have my carpets professionally cleaned?
Generally, you should have your carpets professionally cleaned at least once a year. However, due to factors like allergies, smoking or the climate/environment where you live, you may need to have your carpets cleaned more often. If you have children and/or pets, you may also need to clean your carpets more frequently.
What if I’m not happy with the service?
At Certi-Green, our goal is 100% customer satisfaction. If you’re not completely happy with our service, please give us a call. We’ll come back to your home or business and clean to your liking. If you’re still not satisfied, Certi-Green will refund your money.
